distorted SMS reception

Hello,

I’m having an issue with sending a message... I sent a text (about 6 lines long) and the recipient received a completely different message, but only the last sentence I wrote was kept... This created a serious misunderstanding, and it’s difficult to justify myself without any proof at hand..

I’m sharing both messages to clarify (sorry for having to “air” my private life...)

Sent message : “I don’t know if you realize that this jealousy is ruining a moment knowing we’re hardly going to see each other over the weekend... too bad it's like that.. I’m leaving you, I need to think about something else”

Received message : “You know it’s not right what we did tonight... I said I wanted to be alone to make a choice.. You’re annoying me by drawing me in. I’m leaving you, I need to think about something else”

Let's just say that when your boyfriend receives such a horror, it creates a huge conflict... I would like to understand how such a thing could happen.. because it’s not funny at all.. The only way I could prove to him that it wasn’t me who wrote that message was by sending him a screenshot of the messages that followed each other..

Has anyone ever encountered the same problem? HEEEELLLPP !!

Hello, same problem with an Android and Free operator. For me, it’s not about sending but really about the reception on my phone (I've experienced this with several contacts, receiving messages that arrive very, VERY distorted, just like you, (and yes, it creates tricky situations!)
Particularly with one contact (very frequent), it’s going from 1 distorted message from time to time to several times a day!
Apparently, this seems to come from my phone, but what?! Have you received any answers?

Have you checked that you actually sent the original message? That it wasn't someone else typing on your phone in the meantime? Or maybe your recipient is just playing a prank on you?
If not, install the Android app "Avast! Mobile Security" and run a virus scan ... you never know.

Hello. The same thing just happened with my girlfriend last night. Big mess and major misunderstanding, she thinks I wanted to send a message to someone else and that I've gotten caught... which is totally false because I sent her an exact screenshot of the conversation we were having but she also has one and to my great surprise, she received a message with a different ending that I NEVER wrote... So it's a huge mess because on both sides we have a screenshot with almost the same message except for the ending... here are the messages:

Message written by me: "Oh wow, you’re set, that's great!! Be careful on the docks, okay? :)"

Message received by my girlfriend: "Oh wow, you’re set, that's great!! Be careful on the docks, okay..So verdict, can you host me for a night, that Friday? :)"

Honestly, I don't know where this is coming from but it's complete chaos... I'm using an iPhone at B& U, does anyone have an explanation? A response to this crazy mess that's ruining everything? lol

Same here, a friend sent me a text and I received the beginning properly but not the end. Nothing to do with it. Plus, it was full of spelling mistakes. We didn’t understand anything. My friend has a Wiko, I believe, and Free, while I have a Samsung and SFR for receiving.
