laptop in the bath Solved/Closed

Question

Hello everyone! I'm looking for a component to be able to use my laptop in the bath. I thought about a board, but it's a bit risky. The ideal would be to find something designed for the occasion where the laptop fits into a block and where the block would be attached to the bathtub without the risk of tipping over. If anyone has any idea where I can find this, I'm interested! By the way, would there be any risks of electrocution when using the battery?

Sleeplessness sometimes has its advantages...  Well, here’s an idea:  Equip your bathtub with a small coffee table (which you can adjust according to the dimensions), place your notepad on it, and you're all set!...  Of course  you need to avoid taking a bath during this time, and check that the faucet isn't leaking... But hey! A little ingenuity and voilà!...   Thank you Mr. DIY -- Man is good! But the lamb is better.

I would also add that if the water in your bath is very hot, the steam will penetrate the device and I'm not sure it will really appreciate that. So there would need to be a completely waterproof system... but I've never seen one... sorry.

Hello  Well, without changing your phone (there are water-resistant phones), you can beforehand wrap it in plastic (the type of clear plastic that you seal with heat, like at the dry cleaners)...  Or you can leave the phone elsewhere and take a wireless keyboard (because, well, you might have wet hands...) Hi, Actually, I wanted to use my computer from my bath as well. I placed the PC within reach of the bathtub on a small table and bought myself a waterproof USB keyboard. I have to say it's really nice to be able to surf from my bath. -- Benoit. Get your dirty fingers off my keyboard.

A little clarification: many people tell you to cover it with clear plastic, which is highly discouraged because the phone needs air to cool down, and for tablets hanging above the bathtub, the idea is commendable but should not be put into practice because the phone will soak up moisture and this will cause short circuits. So we're back to my first suggestion: give me your address, and I'll take care to keep it away from steam and water splashes (for your information: chestnut hair, blue eyes, 1.90m tall, 85kg, an athlete's body, well almost, or if an athlete but in curling) lol.
One more little thing: if instead of taking a bath, you took a shower, you would find two advantages: the water consumption (for your wallet and for the environment), and you would also save time, which will allow you to find your phone more quickly.

Personally, I put it on a stool next to my bathtub with a towel available in case I have water on my hands, I just wipe it, I've been doing this for over a year and I haven't had any problems ^^

You just need to make a hermetic box out of plexiglass with a door sealed all around with rubber, and use a silicone keyboard that sells for only $9.99 at Tigre Géant, that's it, and place it on a board above the bathtub.  Hi, and I'm sure this will work, but if you need a mouse, you'll need to find either a hermetic trackball.  I hope this can help you...
