Scan and send with hp photosmart c4280

Hello,
I had to upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I have an HP Photosmart C4280 printer and I can no longer find the simple scanning feature that existed with Windows Vista. The new layout with Windows 7 is different and I can't scan and send. I see options like adding a document, scanning another document, and a window opens with: this page is not saved.
I'm getting lost. Should I reinstall using the HP installation CD to get back the old layout or can someone help me?

    You indeed need to download the software for your new operating system from the manufacturer's website....
