how can I block porn ads on a PC when I have children?

I know he's infected since he goes on porn sites.
But I answer his request for software to block.

on certain sites, which have nothing to do with porn sites, we find quite risqué ads on the sides. so I would like to know if there is a way to disable them like for parental control.

If you have porn ads, it's because you're going to porn sites :o))

You can use this. >> AdBlock Plus

I don't know what browser you have on your PC!

PS. Frequently create a restore point! it solves a lot of issues.

  Adblock+ is very useful as a preventive measure, but against an infection that is already established, it can't do anything ^-^

Hello,
You must have adware...
Download and install AdwCleaner (thanks to Xplode) on your desktop as an administrator (for Vista & 7)
Run AdwCleaner
Click on the [Delete] button
Let it work, the computer will restart producing a disinfecting report that you copy/paste into your next response.
(The report is also saved under C:\ AdwCleaner[SX].Txt)

  I had the same problem with unwanted pop-ups of porn ads (not at all on porn sites, so I wasn't really sure why! Especially since I had already installed adblock for that and it was working until now and suddenly not at all) so I tried AdwCleaner as you explained, I hope it worked! Thanks anyway.
