Reinsert automatic numbering in Word 2007

Solved

Hello,
I have a problem with Word 2007 regarding the numbering.
Initially, whenever I typed a 1., the numbering would automatically follow with an indent and everything else... But I accidentally changed that setting and now I can't get the numbering to auto-generate; I always have to go into the menu and choose it, which is wasting a lot of my time...
Do you have a solution to restore this automatic numbering?
I've already tried resetting Word and deleting the normal.docx documents...

Thank you.

Good evening Lisette

In the Word options, under the Proofing tab, AutoCorrect Options, in the "While Typing" tab, check "Numbered Lists"

Or you also have, in the Home tab, the "Numbering" button

Thank you very much!
I searched everywhere except here =)
I don't think I can mark it as resolved since I'm anonymous....
Thanks again.
Have a good evening.
