Black Ops 2 ERROR Solved

Question

Hello, here is my problem

I click on play online and it says connecting to the server, then an error message appears with this message: ERROR "the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 server is not currently available. Please try again later or visit http:///www.callofdut.com/blackops2/stas for updates

But the worst part is I see my friends playing... Please respond if you have the same problem or the solution =P

as for the mistakes that's fine it's understandable we've seen worse

yes, since the release the servers have been having issues
disconnection happens randomly

now it's you and in 30 minutes you'll be playing
and it's your buddy who won't be able to

Since its release, it happens to me at least once every evening
it lasts 1 hour or 2 hours at most

otherwise, in the meantime, you can always play personal matches
just with your friends

It's because the server is full that it's happening now; it can very well happen again in 6 months. It's not because it just came out.

yes, there are also freezes

so you'll need to force a shutdown
when it starts, it will ask you to rebuild the file system

accept then restart

It's normal, it happened to me too, but it's just the time it takes for the game to settle in properly.

I'm experiencing the same issue since last night, and I'm still getting the same error message. I've tried logging out and back in, but nothing works. I find it quite ridiculous that they release a game and their servers aren't ready!

Hi,
You know, the servers are brand new, the game just came out, I think there might be some small issues during peak hours (when there are a lot of people on the servers) try again or restart your Xbox, it happens to me regularly too! ;)

Hello,

Just to say I've had the same problem since I bought the game 15 days ago and it's not getting any better.

I've played 10 live matches since then and it's really pure and simple fraud. Sometimes you let the game search for matches and you go take a shower, eat, and watch a movie and it still hasn't found one.

I have no problem playing MW3 or any other online game except Black Ops 2 and I'm starting to get fed up.

For me, this is incompetence on Activision's part. You can finish the campaign in 4 hours max, and the whole point of the game is to play online. The excuse of saturated servers is just a joke since it has been out for several months.

The worst part is that we have no recourse, no forum on Activision or Xbox Live, you call support and wait 10 years with a premium-rate number and no one on the line.

No matter how much we complain, their only interest was for us to pay for their fake game and now we're stuck with it.

For the next Activision game, I will boycott it, period.

If you have the same problem, there's nothing to do but wait for their goodwill. So I'm going to return the game to the store tomorrow and buy Assassin's Creed so I won't be disappointed.
