How to turn off T9

Hello,

I currently have an Android Star Addict by SFR and I don't know how to turn off T9. I went into the settings but didn't find anything, and lastly, the manual is so small that we can't find anything on this topic. Thank you for responding if you know what to do.

<phone>Make it look like you're typing a text message... And to the right of your keyboard, you'll see an ABC/T9 key. You 'click' on it to switch modes! :) </phone>

I don't have the abc/t9 key
It's just marking abc on the spacebar but I still can't remove it...

Same for me... I have a Sony Xperia Z1 and I have SwiftKey but I would like to remove the bar above the keyboard that suggests words... how can I do that?

You normally have an icon for settings when you write, click on it and go to word suggestions, then choose your mode.

Keep pressing the abc key.

you press 123, abc appears at the bottom left, and you choose your SMS mode.
