"open cover" on canon mp360

After changing the cartridge, the alarm blinks red and a message "cover open" flashes even though I closed it properly. I have changed the cartridge several times without issue, this is the first time I have this message, thank you

I have the same issue with a SmartBase MP390, I contacted a customer service representative, but they couldn't tell me much, except that it might be "a problem with the sensors," though they couldn't tell me where those sensors were located. If anyone finds a solution, I'm also interested...
