Hi everyone, I have a simple question. I would like to play with friends on a local network of a PC game (Warcraft III and Age of Empires III), but the problem is I can't manage to do it. So I would like to know "how to play on a local network in a PC game".
Thank you in advance and goodbye everyone

For a local network, right-click on "My Computer," in the tabs choose "Computer Name" (or equivalent), click on "Change," then you and your friends enter the same name in the "Workgroup" field. After the computer restarts, go to "Warcraft 3," then select "Local Area Network," create your game, and it will appear on the screens of the other players in the local network, and they all click "Join," and that's how local network gaming works... "it does it all by itself." It's common for new PCs to have the same workgroup at the beginning, e.g., "Workgroup." (When you get ready to play, disable the antivirus protection, you can turn it back on afterwards, but be careful with connected computers to ensure they're not infected even if there's not necessarily any exchange.)
