Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire 7789G laptop, I just bought it, it has an Intel Core i5 running at 2.67 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce 610M graphics card with 1 GB. I just launched Minecraft and the game is lagging! I don’t understand why because I have a less powerful computer and it runs perfectly on it. What should I do???

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 22.0.1229.79

    Hello,

It's your Java that is out of date. Also, make sure you have the version suitable for your operating system (32 or 64 bits).
Additionally, Minecraft runs on Java. Java is not very stable, so it puts a lot of strain on your PC. Even if a PC is less powerful, being a desktop allows it to generate less heat than a laptop. Maybe your setup isn't powerful enough to avoid overheating.

The biggest problem with Minecraft is indeed the heat. So if the Java update doesn't work, that's where it will come from. Don't hesitate to install the Java Runtime Environment ;)

PS: Next time, please make an effort with your spelling.
