Hello,
this is my first time joining this forum, thank you for your help please!
I want to make some modifications to a table that is already saved in AutoCAD, but I couldn't do it because it's like an image. I looked through its properties and found out that it’s an Excel file.
My question is how can I copy it into Excel?

Hi forum
In addition
- You can either link your Excel table to an AutoCAD table:
1. type the table command
2. choose the option "From a data link"
3. follow the prompts, etc...
- You can also directly integrate it into the AutoCAD drawing by dragging and dropping.
( This represents an OLE object. )
For more information, check the AutoCAD help by pressing the F1 key.

Hello.
1) In the Office Software forum, we ignore Autocad, which is not an office software.
2) Check the Graphics/Illustration forum; and in general, look among the 20 forums (support platforms) for the one that best fits your question in the future.
3) We are all volunteers who come to this site from time to time to relax and occasionally give some free advice. So never say that you're in a hurry! It's completely inappropriate. CCM is not an "Online Help" or a "Customer Service".
4) In explaining your problem, you forgot the main point: to indicate what steps you have already tried and what poor results they have yielded...
That being said, welcome to the new member, and plan better for your next request. -
A question has been bothering me: I reread your message several times because something was bothering me...
I just spotted what it was!
"I found that it is an Excel file. My question is, how do I copy it into EXCEL?"
At first, I thought there was a chart or something like that in the AutoCAD document, which was inserted in Excel format and that you wanted to recover.
But according to what you wrote, is it the entire AutoCAD document that would be an Excel file?
Then in that case, why copy it into Excel at all?
Something is really eluding me! -
Thank you very much Myta, for the interest you have shown in my question,
but what I want to do is modify information recorded in Excel in AutoCAD (but I don’t have the ability to modify them, they are information written in Excel and copied into AutoCAD by another user, what I want to know is if there is a method to make this table editable in AutoCAD? If not, how can I copy it from AutoCAD and move it to make these modifications in Excel and finally return it? -
Thank you very much Mr. Raymond, for your advice,
and for the time you took to answer my question, even though it wasn't very well formulated.
I will move on to the graphic design forum.
Best regards! -
Hello karmily.
I don't know about AutoCad. But when an Excel file is inserted into a Word document, you just need to double-click on it for it to open and be editable.
Have you tried that?
