Hello,
I would like to know how to download the update for the giant demo GN 1000 HD and also how to activate it with USB. Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 4.0.249.11

What do you want to achieve with this update???? Free channels that are normally paid for?....Is your decoder flashed?

You go to the official website www.zinetsatdw.com, click on download, choose other receivers, then select gn 1000hd with the most recent date, click on it and it will take you to the download page. Then uncompress your file and copy it to your USB.
Plug the USB into your receiver, click on the USB button on your remote control, find your uncompressed file, when you find rom.bin double click and follow the procedure until the end, there you go, it's done.

Yes, the decoder is flashed but I can't get the channels. Thank you.

your decoder has been flashed for a reason that is unknown to me
I cannot help you
this operation should be avoided at all costs, as more often than not, flashing will cause your decoder to crash
if the flash was installed to watch normally encrypted channels, your case is hopeless and exasperating
contact those who uploaded the flash... they claim to be very clever... so they might be able to repair your box
