Hello to you,
So here it is, I just acquired a sound card: the ASUS XONAR D2X.
I installed it, plugged it in, installed the drivers, updated it, but to my surprise, the sound is very low...
I checked my devices, etc... the sound is at full, the settings are correct, but nothing.
I've been working on this for an hour now and I'm out of ideas, so I'm asking for your help ^^
My configuration:
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77
Graphics card: SLI of 460GTX
Processor: INTEL CORE I5-3450/3.10GHZ 6MB LGA 1155 BOX
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64
Headset: Sennheiser PC-350 (yes, I've checked, the sound is also at full :D)
Power supply: Antec True Power 650
Do you have any idea where this could be coming from?
I thought about underpowering, but well...
Best regards,

Hello
Did you plug in its power supply?
This card requires a Floppy power connector (like the one for floppy disk drives) that comes directly from your power supply (the slot alone is not enough).

What sound output configuration did you set? 2.1

He probably didn't read the manual and didn't connect the 4-pin power supply.

I must admit that when I was assembling everything, I didn't pay attention since I followed the instructions in the manual to the letter and it didn't mention it, but after double-checking the materials provided, I corrected my mistake ^^

Well, problem solved but I don't know how :s I just turned off the PC, smoked a cigarette so I wouldn't smoke him, and when I turned it back on after calming down, it blasted my ears...
Thanks anyway for your responses and your help :)
Have a good afternoon and take care.
