Hello

I am looking to create the famous Warhol pop art from a JPEG photo, a contact sheet with four representations of this portrait: one with a blue background, the next yellow, another red, and the last green.

Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello everyone,
You have several options:

- Either with Photoshop:

http://www.free-images-gratuites.com/index.php/tutoriel-photoshop/14-presentation-et-actualite-photoshop/70-photoshop-pop-effet-pop-art

- or online and free:

http://www.lemondedesand.fr/pop-art-en-ligne-gratuit.php

- or with Photofiltre:
http://usd.khurshid-sus.com/zcvisitor/1584df88-8ed1-11ea-9357-124610aaa3bd?campaignid=0d1dff40-82d7-11e9-9533-0a157bfa6bfc

Hoping to have answered.

Hello,

I achieved very good results simply with the free software Photofiltre. You open a photo with a solid background, then click on settings, then bichromy, you just have to choose the two colors for your photo, and save if you are satisfied with the result. Extremely simple compared to other software.

Dear Mary,
I had tried with Photofiltre but I was making my life too complicated. With your clarifications and what follows in the discussions, I will manage much better.
And for everyone, if we don't have the manual, we have to fumble around. A bit of patience, your works will only gain more value!
Peace to all!

With Photoshop, the quality and the proposals are identical to the work of Andy Warhol.

That's a good one, and I'm adding it to my collection of pearls, not to say anything else.....

Hello,

You take Firefox, type pop art photoshop tutorials, and you have about 18,600 results, you choose the one you like and follow word for word what is explained in it: https://www.google.fr/search?hl=&q=tuto+pop+art+photoshop&sourceid=navclient-ff&rlz=1B3GGLL_frFR393FR393&ie=UTF-8&gws_rd=ssl
You can also change the words to search, and you have about 44,000 results https://www.google.fr/search?hl=&q=tuto+style+pop+art+photoshop&sourceid=navclient-ff&rlz=1B3GGLL_frFR393FR393&ie=UTF-8&gws_rd=ssl

I love pop art! I downloaded Pop Art Studio, but if someone knows this software, can they tell me if it's normal that on the image there are cartoon-like characters or stars... and personally, my drawing doesn't look much like the pop art model.

Do you have an answer to your question because I have the same problem?

It's true that with the free version of pop art, everyone thinks that you can't save and print your projects... well, that's false! Here's the technique: once you've chosen your photo and you know the width and height you want, simply click on one of the "Marilyns" (on the right where you have 9 models) or other pop art you've selected. Then you'll see your pop art appear on a new page where you can change the colors to your liking. Finally, once you're done, press "Print Screen" (the key at the top of your PC) and then open Paint (a program you already have on your PC). Press the Ctrl key (the one at the bottom left of the keyboard) and the "V" key at the same time, and your pop art will appear. Once in Paint, you'll find your project, use the "selection" tool, which is the dotted rectangle just below the file menu, and start from a corner of your project, encircling it without releasing the mouse. Once your project is well outlined, right-click, select "cut" and then "paste" into the program you're using (I use Photofiltre, which is free). So it may seem a bit complicated, but it's super simple and at least there are no little characters, etc. to prevent us from exporting our POP ART projects.
If you need more information because I wasn't precise enough, I'm happy to give my MSN upon request.
Kisses to you and enjoy POP ART

Hi Ludivine!
I wanted to congratulate you on your explanations about the process of creating a pop art image. I followed all your advice and it works great, except for one thing: even when I paste my image on PhotoFiltre, there are always inscriptions from the site across the photo to prevent us from copying their templates, you see what I mean? How do you manage to remove them? Because from what I understand, you’ve managed to get rid of them?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Go take a look at the website www.pixel4wall.com, they take care of it for you, and it's not just Photoshop filters or anything, the work is really well done, the eye color is worked on. The colors are stunning.

What he means, I think, is that they don't have automated filters. They do it themselves on a case-by-case basis. :D

I don't know why Pop Art Studio 2.3 displays little figures behind the drawing, and if you find Nanie, could you tell me how to remove them????
But to achieve the effect, you need to play with contrasts and blur: AND IT'S DONE!! ;)

For my part, I wanted to buy the software Pop Art Studio for 49 EUROS and I never received the license key nor responses to my complaints, the same with PAYPAL, which replied that it was not their problem!!!!!!!!!!! TWO SCAMMERS So be cautious if you buy this software. It will be 49 euros down the drain.........................!!!!!!!!!!!!
And still nothing....

I advise you all to use THE GIMP or PAINT.net
they are not bad
okay, they won't replace Photoshop
but they are free and for amateurs, they give the desired effects
of course, all this after a good day of testing the software

but personally, I'm just a little interior architecture student
and I managed to get by
it's up to you to decide

Hello everyone,
Regarding the software POP ART STUDIO 2.3 or 3.0, there are small images behind because you haven't purchased the software. This cannot be removed unless you buy the software, or if you pirate it which is not recommended.

Good luck to everyone... x)

PS: And Happy New Year

I have never managed to get a good result in pop art.

On this site, I find the final realization of the pop art portrait very successful, go see it for inspiration:

to all
what you call Pop Art software is a scam
Pop Art is a way of seeing the world, like all arts anyway
it's not a miserable log that will turn you into a clone of Andy W
but if you want to "imitate" and I emphasize the word, this style, any log can do the trick
the difference between what you call "so great" and "meh" is not in
the software used, but in the spirit of the one who uses it
that said, Art is not mechanics, as someone said above
it's one thing to screw bolts, another to share your imagination, your ideas, and your personality!

To tell you the truth, I use The GIMP, which is a free software and is the cousin of PhotoShop, and I managed to make a photo in Pop art with a very satisfactory result. For those who are interested, here is my process:
File
Open (your photo)
Once the image is open, in the layer panel, Color
Desaturate (I chose clarity ...)
Brightness (this changes depending on the image, here, -19)/Contrast (this changes depending on the image, here, 57)
In GIMP and not in the layer panel, choose the color you want to take to create a piece at the bottom of all the icons
Fill tool (shift + B or paint bucket)
Click on the area where you want to apply the color

PS - for the background (or even a part of the face) to be uniform, don’t hesitate to fill or adjust a uniform color using the pencil tool (N). To do this, adjust the brush size depending on whether you are dealing with a small or large area

There you go, I hope this has helped you!

Thank you Mélissa, I'll manage with that! I work more with Photofiltre, but with the previous explanation, I really got the "trick". It's going to be awesome!
Thanks again!

Hello!
I want to say that I am really disappointed with Pop Art Studio!
Indeed, it’s a good software, okay, but the fact that a road sign slips onto my daughter’s face ruins everything!!!!
So what do I do? Do I choose the road sign? Or do I have to buy this software?!
After some thought, I’m going to try to pirate it = ) LOL
Alright, I’m off to eat an apple.
Have a good and happy day everyone.

Hello, when you type pop art on Google, you come across a soup (Knorr) website where they hold a contest. You fill out the registration and upload your photo, which you will receive by email. After that, all you have to do is print it.
Hurry up, I don't know how long this contest lasts.
Quick question, do you know how to erase something from a photo? Thank you.

OSCH

Thank you. The results with Knorr are impeccable! Hurry up because the operation lasts only until the 31st (December 2008).
