Hello,

My "Samsung" television displays the following message: "Check the signal cable."
I have read everything in the guide, but there is no explanation for how to perform
the check. Can you please help me?

You should specify that you are in Canada and that you are watching TV online via a Videotron terminal.

That said, isn't the message ""Check the signal cable"" rather a message from the Videotron terminal indicating that a cable is not connected properly?

1 Check that the antenna cable (if you have the antenna cable directly connected to your TV) is properly connected to the TV.
2 Go to the TV menu to select the source (Antenna in this case).

Hello, the message displayed regarding the signal is an alert for weak or faulty antenna signal. Beware of the molded cables sold in supermarkets; the quality is poor and with an average/weak antenna signal, it won't forgive you—your TV will let you know. At an antenna equipment supplier, buy, for example, two meters of quality coaxial cable and two antenna connectors: one male (TV) and one female (wall socket). Check when connecting that the tightening of the connectors is correct. A little assistance for connecting the connectors is always possible when requested politely from the equipment seller.

Do you have an antenna outlet connected to a cable network? Your Samsung TV can perform a scan on the frequencies of the cable or a traditional rooftop antenna (menu installation > reception option for antenna and cable) and then you tell me you receive a "weak signal" message from your PC! Does it have a TV tuner? Is it sensitive enough? How is it connected to the antenna outlet? Does it pick up the cable channels, DVB-C standard?
What does that have to do with the TV then?
Try to describe your setup to me; your previous explanation is full of important unknowns.

@ Copelia You say "My source is PC"!?? You should rephrase your question because it's becoming nonsense!  Initially, you said "My Samsung TV displays the following message: 'Check the signal cable'." and we thought you had a reception issue with your TV, but if the source is PC, we have to understand that you are displaying the PC's image on the TV!?  -- LOL, LMAO, ROFL, PS, UMP, FN, FDG, ...
