Hello everyone,
So here it is, I recently joined Free but I'm not on total unbundling, my Freebox is connected via USB, and my problem is that I can't configure the Freebox router to get a result on BitComet. Many posts on the topic exist, but despite that, I can't manage to make it work... So if a kind soul feels like giving me a hand....
Thanks in advance!
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

First of all, it's better to connect the Freebox via Ethernet

then you look for which ports (TCP or UDP) need to be opened for BitComet and then you open them via your management console.

In BitComet, go to the options and in the window that appears, go to the dropdown menu on the left. Click on the first item. At the bottom right, you choose the port you want to use.

Afterwards, you need to configure your Freebox so that this port is authorized, and you're good to go.

Mmm... It's not very clear as an explanation, LOL. It's like being told that to unlock your car, you just need to change a few things on the engine and the electronic control chips...
I think what this person is really asking is HOW and WHERE to do this in the configuration of your FREEBOX (we've clearly seen which port to use in Bitcomet, the question being asked here is actually "how to route this through the Freebox") ;)

PS: Consider that not everyone necessarily has the ability to connect directly to the RJ-45 ports, due to lack of cables or cable length, and the procedure is the same anyway via Wi-Fi.
