Delete an open VLC file.

Hello,
I can't delete a large/damaged file (my library closes automatically), I can open it by first opening VLC. I would like to know if it is possible to delete this file that is currently being played via the VLC toolbar, Thank you for your help, it's really annoying me ;___;
