Hi there ^^
I'm organizing a party this summer and as everyone can see, you really need a very good organization when it comes to music for it to work. Anyway, I thought about making a ready-to-go playlist. The only problem is I need to create this playlist :/
I plan to make it myself with my own music, but I'm not very knowledgeable about it, so I wanted to know how to organize a playlist for an event.
Explanations: for example, the party starts at 6:30 PM, what kind of music should I play while all the guests are arriving? What should I play during the appetizers? When should I play slow songs? When should I start playing the "good music"? Etc.
I should also mention that it's for young people between 14 and 17 years old.
Thanks.

Hello!
It all depends on everyone's tastes!
What is the theme of the evening? How many of you are there?
Do your friends prefer Rap, Rock, techno, or waltz (^^)?
I am a DJ for private parties, at first we prepared pre-made playlists with well-defined styles! But we quickly gave that up! At each party, people's tastes change, and it would be too good to have ONE universal playlist that everyone likes! =)
The hardest part for a DJ is not playing the music, but adapting to the types of people present and satisfying everyone.
Best regards.
