Good evening,
I am French living in Norway (Oslo).
I have really missed French television for a while now. But a friendly Moroccan friend told me that it is possible to buy a TNT decoder in France and connect it to my satellite dish.
My first question is if it turns out that it is possible to receive TNT in Oslo, which decoder should I buy?
Do I need a specific satellite dish (diameter)?
Is the installation difficult knowing that my satellite dish is directed towards Norwegian and Scandinavian channels?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Have a good week everyone:))

Get a TNTsat decoder: https://www.2galli.fr/recepteurs-tntsat,fr,3,43.cfm And a dish of 80/90cm e.g.: https://www.2galli.fr/

In Norway, you will only have access to Norwegian TNT, but you can receive foreign digital satellite TV.
Since June 22, 2012, according to ZHD, there is a new coverage area for the TNTsat package via Astra L & M, see the diameter card:

Oslo is on the edge of the central service area, so the signal is strong, a standard-sized satellite dish will suffice.
Just in case... there is a second alternative, the other free French package "Fransat" via Eutelsat 5WA.
If you choose the TNTsat package, you need to select a Canal Ready (in HD starting at 120 euros at Electrodepot) for Fransat in HD, even the entry-level "Linetch 12HD90" is available for 99€ during a flash sale (c-discount).
If you stay in SD, promotions starting from 55 euros are available. -

Gil, what do you mean by foreign satellite digital TV? Foreign to Norway, if I understood correctly, like the French channels??
Can I receive TF1 with DTT in Oslo?
Thanks again to both of you.
Have a good evening.-
TF1 on DTT, certainly not in Norway and Oslo, as French Digital Terrestrial Television overlaps very little; it's already limited in Brussels...
As mentioned via Digital Television by Satellite, you will be able to receive TF1
