Hello,

I am trying to optimize my Word form by inserting drop-down lists.

Is there a way to copy the content from one drop-down list to another, since the information is exactly the same?

Thank you for your help

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Yes; it depends on your version...

I am using Word 7, would it be possible to copy the data?

Similarly, I have another question: is it possible to import data from an Excel file into a drop-down list in my Word form?

Thank you very much for your help.

It's not just the content that needs to be copied, but the entire list button.

Since the formats are not the same, I don't think there is a procedure to retrieve Excel data and insert it into a Word form button.

In general, Copy/Paste is enough!

When you say you have Word 7, do you mean Word 2007? Don't confuse it with Windows Seven...

Can you describe in detail how you created your form list?

Hello,

Yes, it's about Word 2007.

To create the form, I used the developer function, in the controls group, I selected the dropdown list button in legacy form.

Have a nice day.

I'm sorry, but I haven't used drop-down lists since I left Word 2003, and I can't even create one that works to test the manipulations!
So I have to pass it on to someone else... But still, try the simple copy-paste!
