Remove the yellow highlighting

Solved

Hello,

I received a document from someone else. On it, several sentences are highlighted in yellow (highlighted, not underlined). My problem is that I can't remove the highlighting in Word (I'm using Word for Mac 2011).
When I apply the classic "none" (for no color), the color doesn't disappear! Strangely, however, I can change the yellow color to blue, green (etc.)
I've searched the forums without finding a solution to my problem.
Could someone help me?
Thank you very much in advance!

    Alright then, another technique:
    - Paste the text into a basic editor (on Mac, I'm not sure)
    - Delete the text in Word
    - Paste the text into Word from the editor

    Best regards

Thank you for your response. But what do you mean by basic editor?

    Hello,
And can't you highlight in white?

The "white" is unfortunately not available in the colors. The lightest color offered is gray. What I would like to obtain is the non-highlighted...

The easiest way to remove the highlighting is to go to the Edit tab in Word on your Mac. Then click on Clear and then Clear Formatting. The yellow background will disappear along with any formatting.

    Hello,

If you can change the color, highlight it in white :)

    Best regards
