Hello everyone,
Yesterday I had a setup assembled at Rue Montgallet. It works very well except for the fact that they forgot to install the DVD drive... Anyway, I bought 8 GB of G.Skill RAM but Windows only recognizes 4.
I saw several posts about this issue and almost everyone said that the "memory remap" function needed to be enabled in the BIOS.
The problem is that I have no idea how to enable this function.
Do you know how to do it?
Thanks in advance for your answers ;)
P.S.: My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V LE

The memory remap is only used to allow certain hardware to use a larger range than the allowed RAM. It does not serve to recognize more RAM. You need to check your motherboard manual and/or a BIOS update on the manufacturer's support site, or your motherboard may not be able to handle more than 4GB, and only a 64-bit system can manage more than 4GB.
Anyway, thanks ;)
