How to convert a kfn file to avi?

Good evening,
I recently discovered the Karafun software and I created some KFN files.
Unfortunately, it is only the free version; I would need the Karafun Studio version to convert my KFN files to AVI, but it is a paid version at €49.
Do you know any way to convert these files to AVI so that I can then burn them and play them on my DivX home player?
I am celebrating my birthday next Saturday, and I wanted to have a karaoke night with my friends, but I've been searching the internet for several days about this and I still haven't found a solution.
Please help me!!!

load your file, pause it, and on your karaoke screen right click "convert video"

hello, I converted my KFN files to AVI without any problem and in very good quality, but with the paid version. if you think about creating several titles, I recommend this version. I can guide you through the audio & video setup if you have any questions. for burning, I used - convertXtoDvd - it's great. good luck.
Yes, you need the paid version.
1. Right-click on the player,
2. hover over display and then convert to AVI video file
(there will only be the video when it's finished)
3. using another conversion software, change the MIDI track to WAV or WMA (VLC works very well)
4. convert everything to AVI and there you go
for those who have the Freebox HD, convert to .ts file and transfer it to the Freebox HD.

I found an alternative to converting kfn to avi, but it takes time: take CamStudio (desktop screen recording software) and record them one by one.

Not bad your Baillou program. Too bad the sound is so bad. So I only recorded the image without the sound, then I had to use Windows Movie Maker to do the final editing image + sound. In the end, quite a noticeable loss of image quality. But well... if Django has the solution, I'm all ears!
Hi everyone, I'm facing the same problem as you and after searching all over the internet, there's no way to convert to mp3, avi or extract the midi from a kfn file. It's still very strange that this format is so protected.
If Django wants to share his info, it would save me from spending a fortune.. :)

The only free solution I've found:
1) Record the karaoke with Karafun, synchronize... save
2) Record again using Camstudio... but without sound, mute the microphone! (poor quality)
3) Finally, with the free trial version of AVS Video Converter, mix the sound mp3 (Audacity and Camstudio)
4) Edit the .avi file with VirtualDub.
*Tip to remove the AVSVideo Convert logo:
When I record with Camstudio in "region" mode;
At the beginning and at the end, I pause Karafun for at least 1 minute while recording with Camstudio, so I can cut out the logo that is automatically embedded at the beginning and end of the conversion done with AVSVideoConvert (trial version).
Finally, just edit the converted file "AVSVideoConvert" with VirtualDub and cut out the part with the logo at the beginning and end.
Not easy, but it's the only way to convert a .kfn file to .avi for free.

I don't want to seem opportunistic but I need to convert just one file, so getting the paid version feels a bit uncomfortable for me... Have you found a way? Would it be possible for me to send you my file so you can convert it to AVI for me?
