Hello,
I recently acquired a second-hand Philips F7215 Full Automatic turntable.
The problem is that the speakers are not provided. I then tried to connect the plugs to the AUX of my hi-fi system, without success. After that, I tried several solutions: failure. I hope you can enlighten me on this matter,
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 12.0

Good evening,
The two jacks visible on the front of the photo are DIN format jacks, an old German format. These are probably the input and output. You will use the RCA jacks located on the side, knowing that there should be the same thing on the rear face that is not visible. You should, of course, read the labels to connect the cable coming from the turntable to the IN input of the box and the OUT output to an AUX or LINE input of the amplifier. You also need to switch to this input using the source selection button.
This preamplifier is essential to achieve a sufficient level for the mentioned inputs and especially to correct the signal (frequency curve).
However, it is surprising that you do not have a phono input on an amplifier. Please check carefully before proceeding with a purchase that would be unnecessary.
Best regards.
