Difference between ATA and SATA hard drives

Hello,
I would like to know what the difference is between ATA and SATA hard drives.

Since I have several ATA hard drives, I wanted to convert them into external hard drives with an enclosure. However, on the internet, there are only enclosures for SATA drives.
