Hello,
I am trying to update fields in a document. I have tried Ctrl A and then F9, but it doesn't work, and I've attempted it on two different versions of Word (2007 and 2010) and on two different documents. I really feel like the issue is with my document, but I don't know what the problem is. I don't have a window that opens to go through the fields one by one and apply a value to them.
What should I do? Can someone please help me?
Thank you.

And what if you did ALT+F9 or SHIFT+F9?
Retirement is great! Especially in the Caribbean ... :-)

CTRL+F9 = Insert an empty field. CTRL+SHIFT+F7 = Update linked information in a Microsoft Word source document. F9 = Update selected fields. CTRL+SHIFT+F9 = Break the link to a field. SHIFT+F9 = Toggle between field code display and field value display. ALT+F9 = Toggle between the display of all field codes and the display of all field values.
