Gran Turismo 5 on PS3.

Hello, let's assume that only the language in the game has been modified.

STEP 1

From the main menu of Gran Turismo, go to the "Options" icon, the 5th from the left, and confirm.

The next menu opens with several levels:
Level 1 (from left to right)
Arcade settings / Race display / Demo / Unit - languages (move the cursor to the right to display this choice)

The Units / languages menu is represented by a speedometer with 5 vertical bars in front.

When we open this menu, a window opens with 2 modification options

The 1st one at the top allows you to change the game language, click on it and select XMB French, then scroll down to confirm with OK (right box).
The game will switch back to French.
If the XMB option offers another XMB language, this comes from the console's language, proceed to step 2; otherwise, everything is fine and GT5 is in French, skip step 2.

STEP 2

Return to the console's XMB menu (exit the game / Menu with lots of icons)

Go to Settings

Icon 1 (the far left one): users / Icon 2 Settings / Icon 3 Photos / Icon 4 Music etc.

So go to "settings", make sure you are at the top of this menu
and select the 6th submenu

1st Automatic update, 2nd Game settings, 3rd Video settings, 4th Music settings, 5th Chat settings, and 6th System settings (the one we are interested in)

Open this new submenu and check to be at the top of the list

1st submenu Auto update, 2nd System name, 3rd System language (the one we are interested in)
Select it and choose the desired language from the list.
Once these steps are completed, proceed to step 1.
