Searching for an old robot game on PC

Hello,

So here it is, when I was little, like in the year 199x, I was completely hooked on a robot game, my memories are fuzzy but here’s what I remember:

A large map with 3 levels, underground, ground, and aerial, along with 2 to 3 bases fighting against each other, the reds, the blues, the purples.

Initially, you had to build small vehicles that harvested a resource allowing us to create larger robots meant for combat, this resource was magma that we extracted from the ground.

In battles with opposing camps, when the robots fought they lost equipment, and we could recover parts from the enemy robots to create new equipment!

We could also create tanks, spinning tops that dug the ground, etc.

That’s about it! If anyone knows the name of this game, that would be great!!!

Thanks!!

PS: It’s not DUNE!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 12.0

It only vaguely resembles an old strategy game that I really liked: http://www.jeuxvideo.com/recherche/jeux/total%20annihilation.htm

TOTAL ANNIHILATION... I really loved this game, now if it's not that and you’ve never tried it, try to get it, it's worth it too :) a Command & Conquer style.

I got a bit carried away, I tried your game, unfortunately it's not the one I'm looking for.

The one I want is better made :/

It's one of the only ones I know in relation to your description; it's still a game of that style, right?

Yes, completely of this style, but much better done, the robots are quite realistic, not all cubic ^^

If they are realistic, I don't think it's a game from the 90s... Because this one is from 1997. Now I have a game 10 years later (2007): https://www.jeuxvideo.com/jeux/pc/00014896-supreme-commander.htm

"When I was little, like in the year 199x" not the 90s ^^'

I'll give it a try, it's really nice to have such clear and precise answers! Thank you so much once again.

Yes, but when we say the 90s, it means from 90 to 99... :)

If you have games like SC2, WARCRAFT 3 TFT, or LOL :)! It's not the same genre but it's way more interesting! Especially war3 which is the most competitive game that ever existed :D

Otherwise, I know a game called Warzone 2100 (it's free)
