Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to disable a graphics card in the BIOS at startup in order to switch to the integrated chipset on the motherboard.
This would be useful for me for energy saving reasons and also due to noise concerns since my PC is in my bedroom and if I leave it running all night the graphics card serves no purpose at all.
Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 8.0.1
ASRock Z77 Extreme4
intel core i-5 3570k
MSI GeForce Twin Frozr III GTX 570 OC
CORSAIR Vengeance PC3-12800, CAS 9
LEPA G700-MA - 700W
Xigmatek Midgard II

Hello,
You can disable any device on Windows, including your graphics card, by going to your "Device Manager."
You right-click, then properties, on your "Computer" icon.
In the list, you choose your graphics card and disable it via a right-click.
From a personal standpoint, I don't really see the point in temporarily disabling the graphics card...
Good luck!
