Recording with Cubase and M-audio Fast Track

Hello,

I just changed my equipment. I have an M-Audio Fast Track C400 sound card.
I am recording my voice in Cubase SX with a studio mic using phantom power, and I don’t understand why when I export to wave, the software only outputs the track on one side.

I have tried adjusting countless settings in the VST Connections device, and when I export my track, it stubbornly places the voice on one side, which makes it impossible for me to position the voice in the sound space during mixing. If I set the PAN completely to the opposite side, the sound disappears!!!

It’s extremely frustrating. How should I configure Cubase and my sound card?

    Hello, in Cubase, once the audio track is created, there are under the title audio 1 for example
    a certain number of icons, such as a red recording icon and others. You need to validate the one representing 2 solid circles, which corresponds to mono or stereo.

      No, there isn't that logo, but anyway I've already set everything to mono, I've made a lot of different adjustments and it's still only on the left!

      The mono usually outputs the final stereo wave sound.

      Yes, I know this since that’s how I used to work with Cubase with an Audiobox ... but since I changed my setup to Cubase SX with M-Audio Fast Track C400, I can't get a stereo wave track out. No matter what settings I try, it considers track one as the left one and track two as the right one, so I’m going to have to buy a splitter jack if I can’t find another solution in the meantime ...
