You can contact your operator to "blacklist" your product.
For this, you will need to file a complaint beforehand at your local police station and attach a duplicate to your operator with the request to "blacklist" your product.

The purpose of this procedure is to completely lock your mobile so that it becomes unusable. Additionally, within 3 days, if your mobile is turned on, a sound notification will be triggered to ensure it is loud enough for any passerby to hear, so if your mobile is found, a message will display, asking to return the item to the nearest police station.

I just came across your forum regarding the locking of a lost or stolen mobile. I can share my experience; I am a subscriber at Free-Mobile, and after losing my smartphone, I immediately blocked my SIM card on the operator's website, which worked very well. I still called 3244 for confirmation. I also asked them how to block the phone, and unfortunately, the bad news is that according to them, only phones sold by them can be blocked, and sadly, I bought mine from an online store.
