Canal+ remote control

Hello,
I have a Canal+/Canal Sat decoder, and everything was fine for the past few years. I bought a Sony HD television two years ago, and it was still working. Recently, however, the remote control stopped functioning. It happened gradually, with increasing difficulties changing channels and accessing menus... I replaced the batteries, disassembled and reassembled it, but nothing worked. I replaced it with a new one with new batteries, and it still doesn't work, not even with the TV turned off; the decoder doesn't respond. It's impossible to change the channel or access the menus. The decoder works if I change the channels using the manual buttons.
I don't understand anything.
Can someone help me?

Hello, is your Canalsat decoder on lease?
If so: request the replacement of the remote control: Canalsat will send you a new one.

Yes, my decoder is rented, but I had to buy the remote control after calling customer service. They did not offer me a free replacement. This one is therefore new. So it doesn't come from the remote control, apparently.

Decoder cube? If so, adjust the display to a lower setting.
Is the decoder display affected by a light source or a video transmitter?

Demand a replacement decoder; your terminal must be provided in perfect working condition in exchange for the rental + subscription payment.
