Hello,
I have a scanner for 35 mm film and slides, "KONIG CMP-FILMSCAN10" that used to work on XP. I now have a computer running WIN7, but I've lost my installation CD for the scanner. How can I find an installation CD and a driver that works on WIN7?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions that could help me out.

Hello ;
Not knowing this product at all and doing some research, I came across this link where it is stated that this product is also valid for Windows 7 (See specifications tab)
To download the software, I think you need to check the download tab then software
Thank you for coming back to the Forum to let us know if it's resolved or not

Hello,
Thank you for your response, I successfully found the software to download. However, since I’m not very good in this area, I can’t seem to start the scan. Let me explain: After installing the driver (which I’ve confirmed is functioning properly in the control panel), and the Arcsoft Software Suite, the scan, finally connected to the USB port, does not appear. I’m therefore stuck at this stage. How can I resolve this? I apologize for reaching out to you again for assistance.
Thank you in advance for your advice.

Hello;
I don't quite understand the problem, the software seems to be installed correctly, the driver is recognized by the machine but the scanner is not working. Have you tried checking with the scanning function of Windows 7?
Type Scanning in the Windows 7 search bar (at the bottom left) then click on scanning to see if this scanner is recognized by Windows 7.
Best regards. -
Hello again,
following the procedure mentioned above, the scan is recognized as "USB Camera", and when I click on it and select "troubleshoot", it says ........... without detecting any problems!
As a result, I don't understand anything at all. The intricacies of computing completely baffle me.
Best regards and thank you for everything.

Hello;
As mentioned above, I do not know the product. Despite everything, I think (and I will) that it is necessary to properly uninstall this software completely using Revo Uninstaller (the tutorial is on the same link) then disconnect all connections linking the product to the machine, restart it and then do a new installation from the link mentioned above and only reconnect the connections when prompted by the system during the new installation.

Read also before installation the documentation in French (pages 14 to 17/66 of the international user manual)
If this still does not work, it is possible that this product does not work under Windows 7 (despite what the manufacturer mentions ?? it may be worth contacting them through their online support))
Best regards.
