Hello,
even with the installation CD, I can't manage to install my Canon printer. Can you explain to me how to successfully install my Canon MP250 on my laptop? (thank you)

Hello!
In principle, Seven does everything by itself, without an installation CD.
As soon as it detects the peripheral, here the printer, it searches for the driver and installs it.
Maybe it was disturbed by your attempt to install using the CD, especially if the printer is older.
Initially, I advise you to go to Device Manager, disable and uninstall the printer if it appears there.
Unplug it from its USB port. Restart. When you log in, connect it back, turn it on, and wait for Windows to start searching.
If it doesn't find it, you will need to go to the Canon website to download the latest updated driver for your printer.
