Locked layer by parent in Photoshop

Hello, I have a problem with Photoshop CS5. I received a file with locked layers and I can't unlock them; it says "layer locked by parent," and when I create a new layer, it's already locked. How can I do this, please help me.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.7

    Good evening,

    For a Background layer: double-click on it in the Layers palette (sometimes hold Alt as well).
    For the others: once selected; unlock them (click on the padlock (at the top of the same palette)...
