It's not really that complicated, but when you don't know, it's better to ask indeed ;-)

2 possibilities:

1° When you've decompressed/extracted the contents of the archive, in the "several programs" you should have an install.exe or setup.exe, you just need to click on that file to start the installation.

2° You can also go through the Device Manager => right-click on the WiFi key/the unknown device > Update driver > and there you have several small windows to select the location where you extracted/decompressed the famous driver.

The easiest is the 1st solution of course ;-)

No install.exe, which is exactly why I'm horrified!!!

As for the device manager, being a woman, and a blonde to boot, I inserted my USB stick on the first day, not having a driver and in the chaos, I clicked on "don't ask again in the future"! So now, when I insert my USB stick, nothing happens!!!
(I know, I know, ..) :-(
