Hello,

I have a problem because when I speak or write I can hear myself in my headset, and sometimes when I watch videos I hear an echo which is very annoying. Sometimes I make videos and I feel destabilized by hearing myself talk... Thank you for helping me.

P.S.: I'm on Windows 7

Hello,

I just solved this problem
  • right-click on your speakers in the bottom right of your taskbar, then open playback devices. A window will appear; stay on the first tab titled Playback where all your audio devices are listed (active or not)
  • click on your headset and properties.
  • A new window appears
  • click on the 2nd tab titled Levels, there you have the speaker level of your headset and below another called sidetone
  • set sidetone to 0 or mute it and then you won't have the sound of your mic coming back into your headset!!!

If the problem is different, meaning the sound from your mic is coming through your speakers, that's a different procedure!!! There you start over from the beginning (right-click on the taskbar on the speaker icon) playback devices, the window appears, and instead of staying on the playback tab, go to the recording tab, click on your mic in the list of devices and then properties. A new window appears with several tabs. Go to the 2nd tab titled "Listen" and normally the function "Listen to this device" is checked, so just uncheck it to no longer hear your mic through your speakers!

There you go, I hope this solves your problems!!

Test on the device called "Speakers", you might find "Microphone" in the "Levels" tab
