Hello everyone!

I've created a personal page (with Nvu) hosted by my ISP (Free), in order to broadcast images from my webcam live (ideally streaming)...

I'm a novice in computing and I'm having "some" difficulties in embedding the image from my webcam into my personal page!

I looked for help in various forums, with Google, read a lot (didn't understand much)... but I got no results!

I found a tutorial that could have helped me:

http://www.tutoriels.com/articles.php?id=23

unfortunately, even by following the procedure to the letter, it didn't work!

I briefly thought that the problem might come from my firewall (ZoneAlarm) but even after disabling it, the problem was still not resolved.

I have a Creative webcam with software provided: Webcam Center which includes "remote surveillance" and not knowing how to program, I used the module that allows me to "upload a personal page" pre-configured... which I then uploaded to my site... unfortunately, I don't know how to send my images to that page...

I need help... ideally, someone would point me to a tutorial with the entire procedure to follow, a simple procedure suitable for a beginner and especially that wouldn’t require downloading paid programs...

Thank you in advance... I hope you can help me...
If you have any questions and think you can help, feel free to email me!

Hope to hear from you soon!!

Hello,

the problem with blog TV is that everyone can see it; I'm looking for software with a private webcam chat for my site. With a webcam image that is quite large and of good quality...

Thank you Kimline, it would be really great if they could do it soon, I can't wait! In the meantime, I've tested webcam chats like best of chat, dialogoo, but the problem is that when you enlarge the webcam, it's too pixelated while on blog-video the image is perfect. Otherwise, I downloaded DS Webcam, I entered my ftp codes but I don't know what code to enter on the webpage where I want my webcam to be streamed live... I use NVU and Filezilla. If anyone knows how to do it, I would appreciate the help... Or if there's anything else available, even paid... Ideally, it would be software similar to MSN for webcam quality, but one that we could have directly on our site of course...

The only little thing that bothers me is that I want to put my cam live on my blog (Cowblog), in a small spot in the menu, you know... and with Blog Video, we can't adjust the size or a bit of the color... sniff so it "overflows" on my pages... (or maybe we can and I'm really useless ^^) Help

http://www.blog-video.TV
a cool site to broadcast your webcam live (you can also have your TV exportable to put it on your site)
and it also works with a DV camera
it’s free and without software...
plus when you broadcast you can chat with the audience!

See you!

http://www.blog-video.TV This site is for broadcasting webcam for the public, not for my brother's website.

Yes, video blog, I've been here for a year already. You know, there are months when I don't even stay live for a minute, or sometimes you don't even broadcast on the homepage.

For your webcam live, I recommend Active Webcam, and even it can stream to your personal page with auto-refresh, but it's paid.

I discovered justine.tv.

Video blog in English.

Mogulus.

Usernam tv.

Beau ninom video blog, TV evolves. The problem is that you have people on your TV, you can't see them, the chat goes on standby.

There is an excellent quality site to stream your webcam live, it's http://www.ufederation.com/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi
it's free and for beginners as there's no need for software

you can also chat at the same time. I hope it helps you ;)

Hi Jenny,

Regarding blog-video, the chat and private webcam feature will soon be launched (everyone is asking for it!), regarding quality, it largely depends on your internet speed (be careful not to use P2P software or upload in general when you are streaming)

I will keep you updated...

Hello
I'm repeating myself... but: please register on the forum, don't stay "anonymous"...
it's much nicer (and more effective!) for the volunteers who will help you with their answers!
Moreover: the post is quite old and... please don't say just anything!!!

the 'www' is also here for communicating, sharing, and exchanging, right?

It's very easy, you go to EarthCam, you register, you create your page with your cam in the middle of the page that takes you when you are logged in!
