Hello,

I just realized that I received a charge on my credit card for 90 euros from the company "AF VAO NET" in Rennes. I don't remember making such a payment on the indicated date, and even less online (as my bank tells me it’s likely an online order).

Can someone tell me more about this company before I start a dispute? Have you ever heard of it?

Thanks!!

Configuration: Mac OS X / Firefox 9.0

    Arf, I just found out: it's a fine ^^

They just set up an electronic ticketing center in Rennes! They could warn us!!

Thanks Yann for your advice anyway :)

I just had a charge from AF VAO NET on my card and I also didn't pay for this, especially since I am from Gironde. What should I do?

As our friend said, these deductions correspond to the fines that we paid online!

Absolutely, the code "Carte Af Vao Net" corresponds to fines paid via the government website: https://www.amendes.gouv.fr/portail/index.jsp
The moral is, drive slower or park in the right places! ;)

Damn, I had the same scare! It's the payment of a fine! In any case, they don't waste time withdrawing from the account!

I don’t know, I don’t know what you could have done, but your banker can ask the bank that made the withdrawal if it is really in liquidation and if so, why they took money from you when they are no longer operating. In that case, I would ask the banker to change my credit card to make sure I no longer have that kind of withdrawal. Then, if you are sure of yourself and you haven't made any purchases, it might be a theft of your credit card number, and if they have a website, it could be a fraudulent purchase, so all you have left to do is file a complaint, etc.

You're welcome, tough luck but at least you should be reassured, good luck.

So if I understand correctly, she has been in liquidation since August? So I clearly couldn't have bought anything from them in November!?

It's not online shopping and it's not a company, it's the fines that you've issued.

For your information, VAO stands for Computer Assisted Sales.

    It's just as I thought, I've had €90 stolen from me... :/
And on top of that, I've lost points!
