And for those who are looking for real answers to their questions, here’s how I found the solution. You just had to follow this little tutorial before copying and pasting the Windows files onto my USB stick:
Click Start, enter `cmd' in the run field. Once cmd is open, type in `diskpart' and a new window will open
In the new diskpart window type:
`list disk' : This lists all the disk drives attached to your machine
Look for your USB drive and note the number and then type: `select disk #', where `#' is your USB disk number
then type `clean'
then type `create partition primary'
then `select partition 1'
then `active'
then `format fs=fat32 quick'
The procedure correctly formatted my USB stick before pasting the Windows files! :D -
Use this small software: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/
If you follow the steps correctly, you should have your Windows 7 on your USB drive. -
I won't be able to answer your questions, but where would you have found the Windows 7 Starter ISO, please?

Good evening
I too would be curious to know where you found an ISO image of W7 Starter.-

When you don't want to overthink it, you hit F9 at the startup of Windows, then you get a screen that tells you you're on Windows 7, you press F8 and you arrive at the restore system of Win7, you choose a back date and it's back to the future... since Windows always does critical updates, you have a choice of dates (lol)... that's why I only work on Mac now... too annoying Krosoft.

By the way, thanks Marcel for answering me intelligently :D It's nice of you to take the time to respond to me when I'm struggling with other answers that just question me needlessly in return.

Yes, I downloaded my ISO image from an "illegal" site, but we don't care; I have my original key.
