Vmware does not detect the mouse

Hello,

VMware does not detect the mouse, so it is impossible to continue the installation of my Debian :(
I read somewhere that I need to install VMware Tools, but how???

    Is it a USB mouse?
    If you have a PS2 adapter, it often detects better.

        My 64-bit Debian machine was not compatible with my system, even though I have a 64-bit Windows 7; I need to download the 32-bit version for those who will need it.
