Hello,

After long searches on the Net, I turn to you for my last chance...

I have in my possession a LED display, Sigma ASC 434. With the remote control, I am able to record my text sequences, set colors, etc...

The major issue is that I can't read this sequence. That is to say, I don't know the method to be able to do "Play".

        More than suspicious, I wouldn't even give a euro to see it. It seems to be a deception. This is the first time I've seen such a service that is both delayed and inconsistent. Stay away.

    This site (found thanks to this forum) provides some information. It’s not ideal, but nowadays browsers allow you to translate websites into the language of your choice. This site also provides a link to a manual in German in PDF format. Sites like deepl allow you to translate PDFs.

    Regarding the initial question, I remember in the past, I configured lirc under Linux to configure the remote control of a TV card. I don't know if that's relevant in this case.

      I had indeed noticed the manual, and the issue is less about it being in German than it is about it relating to a different model; I don't know to what extent we can extrapolate.

      This is a very old device, which complicates things for likely uncommon devices, not to mention that it seems to me that on the software side, one would need to use XP or Vista if necessary.

      It's a niche market that we don't see very often anymore (for example, in banners associated with crosses by pharmacy sign makers), but even the plant seller sells his cacti and the fast food restaurant at the campsite sells its mussels and fries near my place on external screens.

    Thank you for the German link, but as it is not the same model, the remote control is very different. The model still exists under another name, but it's impossible to get the documentation!

    And it's true that it's easier to connect a TV screen with a USB stick, but I don't like having something that I can't operate correctly!!

    .... so I'm looking!

    Maybe if you attach a photo of your remote it will give us some ideas?

    I did find an "obscure driver" regarding the model you're talking about. I tried to install it with wine having moderate trust in this kind of site but I couldn't find any documentation, so I think it's a wild goose chase...

    However, you can try to chime in on this discussion to ask your question.
