Error message in Sonic Generations

Hello, when I click to play Sonic Generations, an error message appears
critical error!
No valid graphics configuration file found. Please run the configuration tool and then save.

Can you help me because I bought the game for nothing if I can't play.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hi, sorry about Maxou, but the problem doesn’t come from there at all. You need to go to your game folder and there you'll find a file called configuration tool. Launch it, adjust the settings, and then you'll be able to play.

Hi.
Maybe your graphics card isn't powerful enough (although I doubt it), or your drivers are not up to date.

I solved the problem by installing the Microsoft .Net 3.5 Framework following the error code 0xc0000135 under Sonic Generations.
If this can save others the time I wasted searching...

Ah... I went to check the required specifications to run the game, and unfortunately, it needs a processor that's almost 2x more powerful, 2x more RAM, and a more powerful graphics card.

Can you tell us more? What is your configuration? What version of the operating system? Can you close all other windows to leave only Windows Explorer and check if you don't have a message?

Personally, for it to work, I ran the configuration tools as an administrator, then for the settings, I set almost everything to max (for the graphics card, I kept the Intel...)

My configuration: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz
8.1 GB RAM
Windows 8
Nvidia GeForce GT 630M

For those who have the problem of unsupported graphics card, you need to restart using only the graphics card. Personally, I have a key that allows it, otherwise I think it's a good lead for others, just have to look for it...
Oh, and in the config tool, it's not a big deal if you still see the chipset...
