Hello,
I am practically going crazy because I finished a quest and since then, all the inhabitants of every town want me dead. It's the mission where you have to kill a master vampire, on the orders of the Jarl of Morthal. How can I lower my notoriety and be able to walk around and complete quests freely in the kingdom?
Thanks in advance.

Likewise for me, I accidentally cast a spell on a guard during a mission, and as a result, all the guards are trying to kill me, so I can't complete it. What should I do? Thanks in advance for the answers :)
Hello,
I found a solution for the lack of notoriety in cities.
You have to show up in front of a guard with a weapon in hand, lay it down in front of him, and try to talk to him. Then the guard offers to pay, or to go to prison!
After that, I don’t know if this trick works when you’re a vampire!
there you go
best regards

There you go, it's done. After several attempts, he revoked the vampirism: PHEW
A piece of advice: always keep a small backup in the background; that's what allowed me to return to a non-confrontation phase with the NPCs to talk to the mage of Morthal who helps you with this vampire mess
This thing is really a pain, but it's a big pleasure to figure out how to do it ^^
I'm trying to see how they will welcome me in Winterhold lol because I kind of kicked everyone's ass there since I wasn't happy to see them trying to skin me ^^
Enjoy the game; it's really engaging.

When you get attacked by a vampire, within the minute I took a healing potion and I didn't become a vampire. As for going to prison, I advise you to go home and drop off your gear. I've had instances where I served my time and ended up at the castle gate having lost a few items. You go there naked and normally you serve your time, or you can have some fun stealing a bit here and there to find something to wear and whatever else you can find; stolen items can be sold too.
Hi everyone
I also have the same type of problem, ever since an accidental scuffle with a guard, all the guards in my city want my head.
The issue is that I need to see a guy for a quest! (it's the first city in the game's story, the guards are in yellow)
The guards don't offer me to pay or go to jail, they just attack me!!
If you have a solution because this is annoying.
Thanks everyone

I also had the same problem and I managed to solve it. All the inhabitants attack you because you are a vampire. Therefore, you need to get rid of your vampirism to be able to play properly again. To do this, you must first feed on fresh blood; the technique is to sneak up on a character while they sleep and drink their blood. To do this, you just have to approach and pretend you want to steal from them, and an option to feed will appear. Personally, I went to the Brandevin farm next to Vendeaume, where a woman sleeps in a bed. You will be able to feed by equipping rings, potions, etc., to be as stealthy as possible. The characters will stop attacking you, so you need to go to the Morthal inn and ask the innkeeper for news (I think that's how it's called in the game). He will tell you that there is a vampire specialist in the village, you go see him, you do the quest (P.S.: to fill the gem, go buy a soul capture sword in Blancherive if you don't have one or the spell to capture). And there you go, the mage performs the ritual and you are back to normal!
Alright vampires, feed yourselves! It will make you look more human and you’ll be able to go out without being chased or burned by the sun.
To feed, you need to find someone who’s sleeping and do like you're picking their pockets, except there will be the option to feed.
Feed regularly and everything will be fine.
If you haven't done the companions quest yet, a remedy can be found in that quest.

Like me, it's really a struggle.
Many posts are often the most ridiculous, one as much as the other, little seriousness in my opinion this one seems interesting:
http://the-elder-scrolls.fr/skyrim/astuces/astuces-aide-skyrim-the-elder-scrolls-v.htm
But a small downside, it's very difficult to approach the NPC named because as soon as you're in front of the town of Morthal, you're already spotted and hunted again.
I even gave a violent beating to the chief of Winterhold lol. Sure, the vampire situation seems interesting but it's very annoying because it makes life impossible to advance the quests.
The general approach of other forums suggests that you pick a lock of a house late at night but one piece of advice, level up your stealth as much as possible and try to drink the blood of someone who is sleeping: again, difficult because it's annoying even trying pickpocketing.
Try to lighten your load as much as possible to stay as stealthy as you can
and finally I’ll try for another hour before restarting an old save to retry the Morthal quest.
Good luck to you
because I'm really frustrated about this too, especially with over 60 hours of gameplay, ugh^^^

Hi Alexia
what a hassle this vampire thing is
not being able to talk to an NPC because of the third stage of being a vampire, I just loaded the previous save where I'm not yet transformed and where people don't jump on you yet
if so, go to Morthal after asking the innkeeper what the rumors are, who will tell you to go see Falion, a mage I think, and then follow what he says as explained before
keep me updated ^^

Go to the town of Morthal
Approach during the night the house located at the end of the bridge at the other side of the town without being seen.
Unlock the house using a potion that allows you to be as silent as possible, even if it means shedding your armor, unless you already have the silence illusion spell for 180 seconds.
Enter in a crouched position and approach the NPC who is sleeping, no matter who it is. You will try to steal from him discreetly and a solution will present itself at that moment: do you want to take his blood... something along those lines.
Normally, you should potentially return to normal, or if not yet, try a second NPC, or even a third.
Once you have done this, exit the house and check if you have returned to normal again.
At this point, approach the tavern, talk to the bartender, and ask him what the rumors are.
He will then tell you about Fallion, a mage in town who practices strange things that frighten the whole town.
Go see Fallion, talk to him, and he will give you a quest regarding a stone to cure yourself: a black gem that you can buy directly from him (expensive) unless you already have one.
He will meet you at night (you must absolutely be there between 3 AM and 5:30 AM during the night, use the T key to advance time).
A piece of advice: follow him from a distance without being seen, and only talk to him when he is at the meeting point, and then enjoy.
However, you could be infected again if you fight a vampire, so as soon as you are contaminated (check your console under the mage section in the second to last: health, if you see your irreversible contamination appearing after the 4th day])
At best, consult here

To be definitively immune: join the Companions guild, follow their quests, and become a werewolf
but only possible if you are cured or still at the second stage.

Go to the end of the village of Morthal, wait until the complete night, especially for the NPCs to be asleep. There is an isolated house; try to enter by removing everything you are wearing and be as quiet as possible. Attempt to pickpocket; a window will be suggested to you if the NPC does not wake up: take his blood, I believe. Feed yourself, repeat the technique while still remaining unseen on another
Then, try the rest of the solution once your vampirism has decreased, but quickly because the level will rise again.
All of this is possible if you have not reached the final stage of being a vampire. There are four phases, I believe.

Omg!!! How does the world manage to be as lame as this... come on, even at level 1 with 15 in stealth and heavy armor, being a vampire or not, I can get close to sleeping people without any problem, especially since Skyrim is morbidly easy.
Anyway, the vampire in Oblivion and Skyrim is a complete failure in their bonuses and penalties. EXAMPLE: 100% cold resistance. Common, what's that, a Nordic vampire...
What a fail XD
I don't see many people playing Skyrim play Morrowind XD
Those were real vampires, not like the joke of Oblivion/Skyrim.
The bonuses
1. +20 to Strength, Willpower, and Speed.
2. +30 to Stealth, Athletics, Acrobatics, Unarmored, Hand-to-Hand, Mysticism, Illusion, and Destruction.
3. Immune to paralysis and common disease.
4. 50% resistance to normal weapons.
5. Tactile vampire spell that absorbs Health 10-30 points on touch. It will always have a 100% success rate.
6. Additional bonuses based on the clan you joined:
-Aundae clan: +20 to Willpower, +20 to Short Blade, Mysticism,
and Destruction.
-Berne clan: +20 to Agility, +20 to Stealth, Unarmored,
and Hand-to-Hand.
-Quarra clan: +20 to additional Strength, +20 to Blunt Weapons, Hand-to-Hand
and Heavy Armor.
Penalties
- Health doesn't regenerate even if you sleep (bed/passing the hours).
- Takes 5 damage per second in the sun between 6 am and 8 pm.
- Everyone attacks you on sight (some even appreciate you being a vampire).
No vampire stages XD

It's normal that everyone wants your skin because they see you as a vampire. So, the solution is either you drink human blood while they sleep (pickpocketing and you're offered to "feed", otherwise there's a quest, I don't know who exactly gives it to you but it allows you to remove vampirism. As for the question, how did I become a vampire? Well, the vampire master scratched you and you didn't see the message that you were scratched; next time, if you remove vampirism as soon as you're scratched, drink a solution that removes the dot :) good luck
But if you play stealthily (bow, light), keep being a vampire and feed on humans every two or three days.
