Ubuntu message d'erreur et un sens interdit

Bonjour,

Commençant à peine avec Ubuntu je ne sais même pas où vraiment chercher pour trouver ma réponse, donc je pose ma question ici :
Depuis que j'ai essayé de mettre à jour ubuntu j'ai un sens interdit qui apparait dans la barre en haut de l'écran et j'ai ce message lorsque je passe la souris dessus (il est en anglais étant donné que je ne peux pas encore changer les langues) :
"An error occured, please run Package Manager from the right-click menu or apt-get in a terminal to see what is wrong.
The error message was: ' Error: Opening the cache (E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with Mergelist /var/lib/apt/lists/fr.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_natty_main_binary-i386_Packages, E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.)'. This usually means that your installed pckages have unmet dependencies"
Je préfère préciser encore une fois que je viens à peine de commencer à utiliser ubuntu et que je n'y connais absolument rien, donc pour les réponse si vous pouviez être le plus précis possible ;)

Je précise aussi au passage que j'utilise la version Ubuntu 11.04 - the Natty Narwhal

Bonsoir,

Le message dit en clair (si je ne me trompe pas, mon anglais étant ce qu'il est...) que certains de tes paquets ont des dépendances non satisfaites.

Les paquets peuvent être considérés comme des logiciels, même si ce n'est pas forcément le cas. Et la plus part des paquets s'appuient sur d'autres paquets... et donc ils en dépendent.

Normalement, tu n'as pas à te préoccuper de ce genre de choses, Ubuntu sait quelles sont les dépendances de quel paquet et les installent automatiquement.

Sans doute as tu essayé d'installer quelque chose ? Ou bien il a pu y avoir une erreur lors de la mise à jour ?

Si tu ouvres un terminal («terminal» «konsole» «x-term» peu importe) et que tu tapes : 
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade

Il faudra que tu tapes ton mot de passe, et rien ne s'affichera à l'écran, c'est normal. Puis plein de ligne se suivront. Elles décrivent ce que le système fait. Y a-t-il des lignes qui ressemblent à des messages d'erreur ?
Et est-ce que le problème persiste ?

C'est lorsque j'ai voulu mettre à jour le système, la mis-à-jour n'as pas été effectuée et il y a le message d'erreur.

Mets des # devant les lignes «natty-security universe» et «natty-security multiverse»



Puis réessaye de faire «sudo apt-get update» et s'il n'y a pas d'erreur essaye ensuite «sudo apt-get upgrade»

Je ne comprends pas trop ce que tu veux dire par "Mets des # devant les lignes «natty-security universe» et «natty-security multiverse»" peux-tu m'expliquer plus en détails stp ?

Ce fichier est un fichier de configuration qui sert à indiquer au programme «apt» à quelles adresse il doit aller chercher les mises à jours.

Le caractère «#» au début d'une ligne sert à mettre cette ligne en commentaire. Ainsi apt n'ira rien chercher à cette adresse. Cela revient presque au même de supprimer la ligne, mais mettre un # devant la ligne permet de la retrouver facilement si on veut la remettre (il suffira de supprimer le #).

Tu auras besoin d'être root (en tapant «sudo» ou «sudo su») pour modifier ce fichier.

Alors j'ai réussi à modifier le fichier "sources list" comme tu m'as indiqué puis j'ai tapé les commandes dans le terminal :

«sudo apt-get update» donne ceci :

J'ai fait quelques recherche sur internet et voilà ce que j'ai trouvé : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=481901
Il semblerait que cela a résolu mon problème car je n'ai plus le sigle du sens interdit, j'attends un peu avant de confirmer complètement.

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -vf
sudo apt-get update
