Always online on Facebook!

I'm explaining to you that I'm offline on my phone and on my computer too. And to check, I log in to someone else's account and I see myself appearing online.

I had a problem in August with instant messaging, and I've just realized that the bug is happening again on my account since today; I automatically appear online to my friends even though I am indeed "offline" on Facebook chat.
Are there others experiencing the same issue as me? Facebook is seriously driving me crazy, the bug had already lasted more than a month and a half this summer, and it's going to start up again now!

I have the same problem as you! All my friends see me online 24/7 on my phone even though I uninstalled all my Facebook apps... including Facebook Messenger --'

It's normal, if you just turned off your phone, you are still online on Facebook, like me on my iPod touch, you first need to select the logout option on your Facebook app from your phone and then you will be logged out.

I found another topic, a person having the same issue, he says you need to appear offline and then log out if it doesn't work, let me know.

I have the same problem as all of you! I tried the offline/disconnection technique, it works very well, nobody sees me online anymore, but then when I reconnect to make myself available on the chat and disconnect again, I still remain connected like before! HELP T.T

You wouldn't have connected to a computer, would you? That's maybe why you're staying online.

That's what I did, I went to instant messaging, went offline, and I'm offline normally; that's what I was doing before, it worked. But not anymore!
