EXCEL Calculate the number of YES and NO

Hello,

I have a quick question:

In the lines, I have the names of people from A5 to A50, and in my column H5 to H50 their responses YES, NO, MAYBE.

I would like to calculate in H53 the number of YES responses in column H; in H54 the number of NO responses in column H, and in H55 the number of MAYBE responses.

I have tried many formulas, without success.

Thank you for your help.

=COUNTIF($H$5:$H$50,"YES")

in H54 
=COUNTIF($H$5:$H$50,"NO")

in H55
