Hello,

Here I am on this forum because I need help.
Let me detail everything for you.
The day before yesterday, I think, if I remember correctly, I formatted my hard drive (F).
Since I did that, it no longer appears in My Computer or Device Manager, but only in Disk Management; it is disconnected but seems defective, I believe.
Here are the partitions of my base disk of 149.05 GB.
- System Reserved 100 MB NTFS
- (C :) 38.97 GB NTFS
- (F :) 109.98 GB (the one I can no longer find in My Computer)
Here, after that I have a CD/DVD-ROM drive (D :)
So, knowing that it is in Disk Management, how do we reconnect it?
Because I am good with computers, but right now, I'm afraid to mess something up if I try something.

    Hello,
    Disk management / right-click on the drive / format (choose NTFS)

    Has it recently fallen?
    If that’s not enough, try on another USB port or with another cord.

      Hello,

      No, my storage hard drive (F) didn’t crash, but it doesn’t contain my PC’s operating system; it just has data on it and I even think it might be defective, but then again, I’m not sure; after all, I don’t know anything about it anymore. But am I at risk if I format my hard drive (F) and not the local hard drive?

      Because I already have enough mess and I wouldn’t want to make things worse, thanks for your help!

      By the way, what type of formatting?

      You won't risk anything by formatting it.

      Slow formatting, in NTFS.

      It doesn't work, it tells me that an unexpected error has occurred, check the system event log for information regarding the error, close the disk management console and restart it or restart the computer!!!!!

    I don't understand, you formatted your disk yesterday, didn't you? Was that a mistake?

    To recover your data before the second formatting, use Partition Find and Mount.
