Hello, I had the very unpleasant surprise of discovering a payment made from my credit card number to SOGECOM.ORG VPC on my bank statement. Upon checking my accounts, I realized that this has been happening for 5 months, always the same amount (€39.95) and practically the same date, between the 20th and the 25th of each month. On the HARDWARE.FR site, they mention people who have found the same issues on their statements but under different names: MEETIC 92 Boulogne Bill (€29.45) or 2LM 74 ANNECY LE VI (€24.90). So, if you are also a victim, reply to me and let's see if we can do something together. ABOVE ALL, CHECK ALL YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS AND LET NOTHING SLIP BY!!!

Hello, I also have a problem with EPOCH.COM
23.05 every month for the past 6 months... it's true that I should have realized it sooner... but as trekan74 asked: how to cancel a subscription that you didn't initiate?
And how to know if EPOCH is not using other extortion methods, or even if it's really EPOCH that's scamming or if it's another crook using that name... or... etc.

Moreover, on epoch.com, it's impossible to access the information normally registered to make withdrawals... how can I find out "what they know about me"!!
It's unbelievable how scammers are like mold.

In my case, there are also some strange withdrawals... I am on vacation in the north for a week and during that week, there are 2 withdrawals of 20E each in Perpignan (where I live) on the same day while my card is with me... I don't quite understand how this is possible^^
Does anyone have an idea, please?

if I may allow myself a little personal reflection:

as long as checks remain free, I will continue to refuse this payment system.

I know it has multiple advantages, especially for online shopping or for getting gas at 2 a.m.

I manage perfectly well without it and it saves me from having to handle double accounting.

this message is intended for all those who think that credit cards are essential.

Yes, I am indeed in the same situation. I received 2 invoices of €39.95 by email, I don't even know what for because I haven't ordered anything, and this amount has been debited twice from my account. I don't know who to contact. What should I do????

I had the same issue, two withdrawals per month for five months now.
€29.45 twice a month under the name Boulogne Billa 92 Meetic.
I blocked my bank card and filed a complaint for credit card fraud.
Now I'm waiting for the refund.
I'm not very attentive to my statements and I realize it a bit late, but I'm determined not to back down!

Hello!
I too am a victim of the same scam, thankfully I keep my accounts up to date and I noticed it in time.
I filed a complaint and my card will be changed.
I sympathize with everyone who has been deceived like me (2 withdrawals of 39.95 euros, while initially it was agreed to be just 1 euro and some change for just 1 month).
I was told that it was - sadly - very common, but that I could kiss my 79.95 euros goodbye...
it's also with sogecom!...

they withdrew 852 euros from me three times in Germany
I had just received my pay and my savings
the only site where I paid by credit card is Nierle
they keep the code
it's not secure
they must have been hacked
we need to warn everyone who pays by credit card on Nierle
I filed a complaint, blocked my card, and on Tuesday I'm going to the bank
I hope I'll get my money back and without fees!!!!!!

In fact, I believe she is not required to reimburse you until an investigation has been conducted. Where she needs to intervene is as the complainant! It's up to her to file a complaint, as she is the one supposed to ensure the safety of a bank account and is the victim in this matter.

  a bank MUST reimburse if the transaction was not made with the PIN code, but just with the card number.
  
  The only requirement is of course to file a complaint, to prevent abuse...

I noticed on August 1, 2007 that I had 3 credit card charges from PKRSER, 2 from July 27 and 1 from July 29 for significant amounts: 400€ and 2 times 250€, and then another one on July 30 for 200€. I therefore filed a complaint and opposed the charges on my account, and for the moment, I no longer have a credit card and I am waiting for a refund from the bank since I have the securicompte. They said that I should get my money back.

I got scammed today; I visited a so-called porn site <ESPACEMEMBRE> where they asked for my card number to prove my age, which I foolishly gave (I am new to the internet). With this proof, I was allowed to browse for an hour, but after a few minutes, I realized I had just subscribed and had one hour to unsubscribe, which I did immediately. However, the password was always incorrect, and they kept sending me the same one. I blocked my card, and on Monday I will file a complaint, but being a bit clever, I did not give the correct three digits <those behind the card>. I don’t know if they will manage to use it. Don’t hesitate to name the sites because I think the good ones are paying for this crap.

Hello,
you need to create a sworn statement declaring that you are not the author of these payments, clearly indicating the amounts withdrawn, and then give it to the bank before filing a complaint. I was lucky to have the security account (a few euros per month), so the bank reimbursed me about fifteen days later. That's what you need to do; I still don't know the origin of this scam. I had a similar problem, except it wasn't monthly but daily.

EPOCH.com charged me 1.20 euros on the first day
then 2.30 on the second day, then 20 euros, then 30, etc.
