2 players on a single PC with PS3 controllers?

Hello,

Yesterday I managed to use a PS3 controller to play on my PC. And actually, I would like to know if it's possible to play with 2 PS3 controllers at the same time on a single PC. If so, how? Because I've tried, and I can't get it to work. The PS3 controller and the keyboard can form a duo, but it would be much more fun with a second controller!

Awaiting a favorable response.
Best regards, JML.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 6.0

I have 4 USB ports, and I have 4 USB/PS3 controller cables to go with them.
The only thing is that when I connect both controllers to the PC at the same time, only one of them works. Yet in ''Control Panel'' -> ''Hardware and Sound'' -> ''Game Controllers'' there are 2 ''PLAYSTATION(R)3 controllers'' listed as OK. But only one works =/

You need to buy a USB dongle to connect the controller to the computer.
But there are some computers that only have one port for the USB dongle.

I hope you understood well :')

    See you later!

    Use Xpadder https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/24539-xpadder/

It's a software that allows you to map the buttons of any controller to the keys of a keyboard. To be clearer, you can assign the "triangle" button to the "ENTER" key on the keyboard, the right stick to the mouse, the "L1" button to the "F12" key, etc...
In short, you set all the buttons of your controller according to the game's needs and then you must not forget in the settings that it is no longer a controller but a keyboard.

It’s a bit confusing, but try the software, you'll see for yourself and pay close attention to see if there are any issues (in-game) once the 2 controllers are connected; it can happen when they are the same models.

    See you later

PS: If you can't use Xpadder, I’ll try to make a tutorial for you.

Yes, I understood, just like the controller/keyboard pair works, we emulate the keyboard with a controller, so it works. Well, in theory? xD

Anyway, I'll test that and keep you updated. Thank you very much ;D
